BUSA Vice-President, Ibukun Joyce talks about how her grades never dropped while in office

by Hyrish

It;s no longer news that it takes students with strong CGPAs to serve as a BUSA official as their grades usually drop due to the choking responsibilities. In this IG post shared by the outgoing VP, Ibukun Joyce, she talked about how her grades kept increasing as opposed to the usual fashion. Huge congrats to her! See her post below…

It’s being a privilege to serve as the Vice President of BUSA this past year and I’m very grateful for the opportunity which made me learn so many things that I will apply in life outside of university. — I’m thankful for the good times, frustrating moments and also the humbling ones. It’s made me look at the things nobody exactly pointed out to me about myself, about leadership, or about people. I’m also thankful to God for showing Himself strong in my Academics, it’s so humbling that my grades never dropped but kept increasing. It can only be God. — Working with different kinds of people too has been very revealing and i know that God has destined us all for greatness. — With me in this picture is also the Vice President for Iperu campus who made this leadership thing so easy from the first day of screening, Who I also have been blessed to learn so much from and his awesome Dad!! —Thanks to every single person that believed in me, it’s been one hell of a year that i really won’t change anything about. I pray also for my @ay_bam_bam as she takes the baton from me too that she kills it, much better than I did
