This has got to be one of the news stories you hear or read about and begin to wonder how true it could be. Well, Linda Ikeji’s Banana Island mansion might be valued at N850million, she could be flaunting a Bentley on Instagram or even have a closet more expensive than the annual budgets of some families put together but one hitch in her record is the reports of her owing her workers at Linda Ikeji Studios.
Linda Ikeji Studios is currently not what it used to be as employees choose which day to and which day not to go to work simply because anytime the boss (Linda) isn’t around, work is usually on hold. Hyrish spoke with some members of her staff who chose to stay anonymous, they revealed that the pay isn’t good but a steady bad pay is better than an unsteady good pay. In fact, it was revealed that the workers were allegedly paid half of their December 2018 salary and haven’t gotten a dime in 2019.
One of their show producers and another employee have also reportedly left the studio because they feel underutilized and on top of that, not paid. As a matter of fact, my source revealed that more of her workers are already submitting their CVs to other media firms for a job that is actually a job.
Now, these are allegations and reports which could be true or untrue. If Linda addresses the situation, fine and if she doesn’t, you know where that leaves us.
