While many were celebrating love yesterday, a 200level Public Health student decided to take her own life in Havilah Gold Hall. Now, according to reports circulating online, she attempted to take her own life because her boyfriend didn’t give her the cakes and teddy bear he promised her. Oh well, that’s not true, Hyrish can AUTHORITATIVELY tell…

According to my source, the girl had a very lengthy phone call before she made an attempt on her own life, she allegedly took refnol and was already lifeless. Nobody knew who she was speaking with over the phone but she sat in front of Block C and tied her wrapper to the railing, which could only mean that her intention was not to jump but to strangle herself.

The source further revealed that she would have successfully taken her own life if not for people who were still going around begging for cakes and making phone calls. The girls were super heroic as they kept dragging her back but she was sweating profusely due to the refnol she took earlier so other girls had to start putting their mattresses on the floor just so she could land on them. The girls couldn’t hold her for long due to the sweat and there are reports that she broke her neck.

I have already reached out to a number of people to find more info on this shocking story because someone also mentioned to me that she was either writing or finished writing a suicidal note on her WhatsApp status. Also, we are trying to find out who she had that lenghty phone call over the phone with. We do hope that she heals completely and gets the right amount of help she needs. Mental health is a very important issue that needs to be discussed EVERYDAY. I feel so bad for her!

Below are exclusive screenshots detailing the gruesome event…
