Alu Ene made history when she became the first female BUSA President in Babcock University. She recently graduated from the institution and she took out time to pen a lengthy appreciation post to her friends, students and loved ones.
She talked about her expereince as a Babcock University student and how she achieved beyond everything she ever dreamed or imagined. Congrats, Ene!

Four years ago, I stepped into Babcock university. With hopes, with excitement, anticipation of great and beautiful things. I had great plans. Great visions. Great dreams. Great things I hoped to achieve. Four years later, I can proudly and gratefully say I have achieved beyond everything I ever dreamed of or imagined. Firstly, I give all of the glory and thanks to God who deemed it fit to keep me and see me through. I also appreciate my family and friends for being such an amazing support system. I also thank every of the beautiful persons I have met in Babcock university that have in one way or the other contributed to this journey. It hasn’t been easy but with you all and God by my side, I pulled through. Many may see this maze I’m holding as a symbol of authority, but to me it is a symbol of passionate service and effective representation, which I believe I have been able to bring forth, being the president of the Babcock university students’ association for one year. Thank you all so much for giving me the chance to serve you. It was such an honor. Finally, I leave with this quote by Michael Josephson – “Take pride in how far you’ve come. Have faith in how far you can go. But don’t forget to enjoy your journey”. With this, I’m signing out, and I’m happy to be A GREAT BABCOCK ALUMNI!!! PROUD TO BELONG!!!!
