His former lecturer, a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering department of UNILAG, Dr. Peter Olabisi Oluseyi quoted the tweet, calling him his boy and telling him he was proud of him but I’m sure he didn’t expect what happened next.

Political enthusiast, Dolapo Akanni pens emotional note to late Babcock University graduate, Akinyosoye Osmond, who died in a fatal accident
August 17, 2016 was a rather dark day for the Akinyosoyes and their loved ones as Osmond passed away in a fatal car crash. He was in the car alongside another Babcock University student, Teriba Sodiq but he survived.

The management of Babcock University has postponed the exams meant to be held yesterday, 11th May 2020 to June 1st, 2020. This is due to technical hitches that hindered the students from taking the exams.
These technical hitches are not in anyway surprising, seeing as it is the first time the school would be involved in something like this. Read the full memo after the jump;

Ever since word got out that Babcock University was planning on holding an online examination for her students, mixed reactions have filled the air as some students feel it’s cruel and unthoughthful, especially since most students are at home, where they might not have access to good network.
A student of French and International Studies department, Joel Esin has penned an open letter to the BUSA President as regards the online examinations plan that has been set in motion by the administration of Babcock University.

In a rather shocking and unfortunate turn of events, a student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has taken his own life over the trauma he suffered after his unjust arrest and punishment in the hands of SARS officials.
Seyi was taken alongside other students and unlawfully locked up for no reason. Seyi lost a lot and ran into debts as a result of the disturbing event. He couldn’t find help and decided to end his own life. See the disheartening tweets after the jump;
